Ingredients:
Dark Chocolate – 115 gms (will need extra for drizzling towards the end)
Salted Butter – 115 gms
Eggs – 3
Powdered Sugar – 200 gms
Flour- 140 gms
Chocolate Chips- 100 gms
Vanilla Essence – ½ tsp
Pinch of salt
Toasted Walnuts – 50 gms
Method: Melt chocolate and butter together in the microwave. Beat sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt till light. Stir in the chocolate & butter mixture (make sure it’s not too hot as it will cook the eggs). Sift the flour and fold in the mixture. Add chocolate chips and few walnuts. Pour the mixture in a prepared tin (I line it with aluminium foil). Sprinkle the remaining walnuts on top. Bake at 150 degrees C for 22-25 mins (oven temp may vary). It will be done when a skewer inserted in the middle comes out almost clean (it should be sticky at the bottom of skewer). Don’t overbake the brownies as they should be slightly moist inside.
Once cool, cut into pieces and drizzle with melted dark chocolate.
I use a 8 inch square tin and the batter is enough for 2 tins (440gms in each) makes 32 pieces.
